The price through Amazon was very good as well, so all in all I am a happy camper (literally). This case looks great, and it fit my Garmin Etrex Venture HC perfectly.
Like I said, it's a solid well made case, but took away one stare because it blocks the mini usb hookup.
I order a 60CXS Garmin GPS and the Amazon website suggested this case for it which I ordered but it doesn't fit the GPS.
Hard mounts have been known to destroy GPS units in this environment. Best of all, it isolates the unit from vibration and bumps by allowing some movement. I made a mount to attach this to my handlebars. Four years and 12000 miles later on a dual sport on off road application, and it's still like new.
It would have been better if the closure were at the front of the unit instead of at the back. While the carrying case does fit the eTrex Vista HCx, I find it hard to operate the joystick. Also, when clipped to my belt, the thickness of the velcro closure is irritating.
